Political punk act Guerrilla Urbana, out of the Canary Islands, have released a new single and music video. “Salmo Chileano 23:4” details the civil unrest of 2019 against the Chilean government, initially sparked by a rise in public transportation fares, but quickly evolving into protests against income inequality and corruption in the Chilean goverment.
Guerrilla Urbana has been at work for decades now, with their most recent album, Apátridas, released in 2018 via Maldito Records.

the white drew carey (aka – Jeff Sorley) is the founder and head editor of TGEFM. He’s lived (outside of) Chicago, Madison WI, (ugh) Penn State, Lyon FR, Oxford UK, central New Jersey, and now within earshot of SFO in the Bay Area. When not scouring the web for more great bands and labels to post about, he also spends time drawing (mostly) silly sci-fi and anime stuff under the name Asplenia Studios.
