    Provided safe transport for seven cherished employees after Paul Carpathian’s retirement BBQ. WOW! “The Carp” was wearing one that day!

    Performed a self-checkout chaperone shift for 11 continuous hours. Way to go, Alex!

Best Meals of 2024

  • Benny’s Pizza Pub – 6/10/2024
    Pizza and garlic knots. A pair unbeaten since Moses wore short pants.
  • Sheehan’s – 11/27/2024
    The Irish Dip Burger was on special, although I’m told it never really rotates off. A fantastic burger, but the “zip” sauce is what makes it. 10/10. Almost went twice in one day, but it was the night before Thanksgiving.
  • One Under – 11/24/2024
    Limited menu, but what they do, they do well. Taffer would be on board.

Best Rocco Mediate Champions Tour Rounds (Majors Included) of 2024

  • Constellation Furyk and Friends – 10/5/2024
    An impressive 66. Ended up winning the tournament in a playoff.
  • Chubb Classic – 2/16/2024
    Shot a 63! Lowest score of the tournament. Some say the course was very gettable in the morning wave, but at 6,909 yards, a 63 is no small feat!
  • Pure Insurance Championship – 9/20/2024
    A solid 68. Some untimely bogeys on the back nine ate into his assault on one of Monterey Peninsula’s finest courses.

Nicest Dogs of 2024

  • The dog by my kid’s school. All the kids pet the dog as they enter or leave the school grounds. It’s a golden retriever. The name escapes me—probably a Buddy, Max, or Duke. Might even be Lucy or Rosie.
