European pop-rockers Halflives have debuted the explosive new single “Dynamite.”
While originally a full band, 2022 sees Linda Battilani head to the studio as a solo artist. According to a statement from the Battilani:
“The next chapter of Halflives is getting close, and I wanted to tell you that it will be only me. I want to thank Oscar (Scantamburlo) and Fede (Bernardi) for their dedication to what Halflives has been so far. Their support means a lot and I’m glad they followed me through this crazy journey. They’ll keep playing and touring with me but you may see other musicians joining me on stage in the future, so I didn’t want anybody to be confused. But going forward Halflives is just me and you – the fans. now buckle up and get ready for what’s next.”

Bad Dad (occasionally called Ed) has been on the periphery of the punk and punk-adjacent scene for over twenty years. While many contributors to this site have musical experience and talent, Ed’s musical claim to fame comes from his time in arguably the most punk rock Blockbuster Video district in NJ where he worked alongside members of Blanks 77, Best Hit TV and Brian Fallon. He is more than just an awful father to his 2 daughters, he is also a dreadful husband, a subpar writer, a terrible dresser and has a severe deficiency in all things talent… but hey, at least he’s self-aware, amirite?
