Finnish hardcore act Aivolävistys have announced they will be releasing their fifth studio LP, Oma Illuusio, in April. This will be their first new album in twelve years, and is due out 14 Apr 2022.
The band, who went on hiatus during the interim, has released two new singles in 2020 and 2021, but without confirmation of a new album. It is now known that those two will also be on this release and, additionally, to celebrate the announcement the band has released the lead track “Tapamme kaiken” (trans. – “We Kill Everything”).
Aivolävistys will also be heading out on a mini-tour the weekend of release, although only in their neck of the woods. But if you are in Finland and nearby, you could do worse than take in a show. Check out the details on those gigs, and the new single, below. Hit up their Bandcamp to hear more or preorder the album, or visit Spotify for streaming.
