French-Canadian melodic punk rockers (punk rockeurs ?) Down Memory Lane return with their first new music in over two years. The seemingly stand-alone single is titled “BPM” and, yeah, it’s fast. What did you expect from them?
I say “seemingly stand-alone” because the accompanying art is basically a companion piece to the cover of their last release, the 2021 LP Breathing. Whether that means this is an unused track from that album, or something more, who knows? DML has been known to tie in releases thematically, so I wouldn’t be surprised if they’ve got something more up their sleeves.
