It looks like this is a thing?
I’m not the smartest person in the room (and I’m alone right now), but I’m guessing that Bad Time Records are doing daily drops of the tracks from their new comp The Shape of Ska Punk to Come Volume II, which was released last Friday 03 Dec 2021.
The next track out, #4 for those keeping count, is Eichlers “Highway 2 the Errorzone.” The track definitely is an oddball of the bunch so far, heavy on Eichlers “hyperSKA” and trap style. Like every good comp, TSoSPtCVII is mixing it up!
The comp is available now as a digital download, with CD’s arriving within 5 days of purchase, and the limited vinyl arriving next Spring (expectations on delivery at this point are March of 2022).
More importantly, 100% of the proceeds from the comp will be split between the ACLU and Oakland, CA’s Punks With Lunch.
Take a listen to Eichlers’ entry, and visit the Bad Time Bandcamp page to order a copy on digital, CD, or Vinyl (all purchases include and immediate digital download).
