Santa Cruz quintet HotLung are gearing up to release their debut LP In Spite Of next month, and have released the lead track “Never Home” as the first pre-release single. The band, featuring Kelly Dalbeck on vocals, struts around in a kind of alt-rock meets gruff punk style, both keen on what the guitars ar cup to, but also dissonant and plain angry at times.
In Spite Of is due out 13 Jun 2023 via Sell The Heart Records and Little Rocket Records.
