Turkish punk quartet Reason Why burst onto the scene this past December with their Spin the Bullet demo, replete with classic street punk stylings, mixed with a bit of proto-punk. Now they’ve delivered a new single for 2024 with “Contemporary Art.” The song builds on that demo EP, and make Reason Why a band to watch out for if the grimy streets of late-70s/early-80s NYC, and CBGB, are your thing.
The demo and new single are up on Bandcamp. They also have Spotify, which doesn’t appear to have “Contemporary Art” just yet.
