Indie Drummer Collective tackles two genre-defining Cursive records

Indie Drummer Collective has released its latest, this time covering the Cursive classics Domestica, and (my personal favorite record of all time), The Ugly Organ by Cursive featuring 20 drummers working through the 21 tracks between both albums originally performed by Clint Schnase.

Originally formed by Erin Tate of Minus the Bear as a way for drummers to come together inhonor of their craft, the project has gained some popularity thanks to its performances of “We Are The World,” and full album play-throughs of Texas is the Reason‘s Do You Know Who You Are and Def Leppard‘s Hysteria.

Drummers featured on the Ugly Organ play through are Kyle Whitmore (Better Than Bullets), Michael Ricketts (Planes Mistaken For Stars), Jason Trabue (Hopesfall), Nick Radford (Annuals), Jon Van Dine (CRUISR), Jamie Gordon (Kid Kit Covers),  Matt Covey (Such Gold), Erin Tate (Minus the Bear), David Silver (Season To Risk), Casey Deitz (The Velvet Teen) Chris Enriquez (On the Might of Princes).

For Domestica, the following nine drummers were tapped. Tucker Rule (Thursday), Chris Dye (Chin Up Chin Up), Adam Beck (Into It. Over It.), Jeffery C. Romanyk (Rah Rah), Kyle Stevenson (Helmet), Jeff Genstreblum (Small Brown Bike), Pete Moffett (Burning Airlines), JR Kurtz (CSS) & Roger Camero (No Motiv).
