Philly hip hop act Grand Mantis have released a new single and video. The track is titled “Nightmares” and, comes off of their debut LP, Fangs, due out 21 Oct 2022 via Knife Hits Collective. It will be available as a digital download or on limited edition cassette.
The video itself is footage from the animated short Chicken Man and Red Neck*, edited and post-processed by Grand Mantis’ own Yikes the Zero. (* the final segment of the 1987 anime anthology Robot Carnival, was later renamed “Nightmare” for the Streamline Pictures 1991 release of the film in America).
