Oakland, CA’s Middle-Aged Queers who, my sources tell me, are both middle-aged and queer, have released the second single from their upcoming album. “Pajama Party” comes off off Theatre of Shame, and follows up previous single (and lead track) “Glizzies Bangin’.”
That album is due for release on 11 April 2025 via Sell The Heart Records, and we now have more preorder info. In addition to the already revealed preorder page for both vinyl variants over at the Sell The Heart shop, you can now also now put in a preorder for those variants, as well as CD or digital download, over at the MAQ Bandcamp.
Hear the new single below and, underneath, a list of their opcoming gig dates, including a mini-tour up the coast into the Pacific Northwest in May. There’s also their super-stacked link page to lead you to all things MAG.

*It’s true. Voted “Best Live Band” for five consecutive years by the Bay Area Reporter

the white drew carey (aka – Jeff Sorley) is the founder and head editor of TGEFM. He’s lived (outside of) Chicago, Madison WI, (ugh) Penn State, Lyon FR, Oxford UK, central New Jersey, and now within earshot of SFO in the Bay Area. When not scouring the web for more great bands and labels to post about, he also spends time drawing (mostly) silly sci-fi and anime stuff under the name Asplenia Studios.
