Every month of 2024, Weftin has dropped a new single from his solo project, all in addition to his time as a member of The End Times, Fat Chance, The Chemical Imbalance, Long Distance Friends and recently as the touring bassist for The What Nows?!.
In spite of that increasingly heavy work load, its hard to imagine Weftin has much more to say, but that was before the election last week. In response to that unspeakable fuckery where more than half the country chose hate, Weftin dropped a twelfth track in 2024, “State of the World.” Check it out, turn the disappointment into a stronger resolve and help the world move forward.
Bad Dad (occasionally called Ed) has been on the periphery of the punk and punk-adjacent scene for over twenty years. While many contributors to this site have musical experience and talent, Ed’s musical claim to fame comes from his time in arguably the most punk rock Blockbuster Video district in NJ where he worked alongside members of Blanks 77, Best Hit TV and Brian Fallon. He is more than just an awful father to his 2 daughters, he is also a dreadful husband, a subpar writer, a terrible dresser and has a severe deficiency in all things talent… but hey, at least he’s self-aware, amirite?
