“10k” (as in ten thousand, you know?) is the newest single from Chicago punks Meat Wave. It is the third pre-release track from their upcoming album, and the video gets the static image/lyric video treatment (so sing along). The new LP, Malign Hex, is due out 19 Oct 2022 via Swami Records, Big Scary Monsters, and Let’s Pretend. It follows up a series of singles going back to their 2020 Volcano Park EP.
Hit up the new video below, and visit the Meat Wave Bandcamp site or this link page to preorder/pre-save the album. If you are in the USA and want to order direct, visit Swami here. EU-UK? Head over to Big Scary Monsters.
the white drew carey (aka – Jeff Sorley) is the founder and head editor of TGEFM. He’s lived (outside of) Chicago, Madison WI, (ugh) Penn State, Lyon FR, Oxford UK, central New Jersey, the SF/Bay Area, and now the Twin Cities. When not scouring the web for more great bands and labels to post about, he also spends time drawing (mostly) silly sci-fi and anime stuff under the name Asplenia Studios.
