Philadelpia noise-punk act Rid Of Me have dropped a new comer from their upcoming 2-song release. “My Own Summer”, originally from Deftones 1997 album Around the Fur, comes off of Whatever, which is due out 29 Apr 2022. It will be available as a limited edition cassette or digital download, and will also feature a cover of Nirvana‘s hit “Smells Like Teen Spirit”.
The band, consisting of members of Fight Amp, Anxiety Spiral, Low Dose, Legendary Divorce, and Soul Glo, released their first full-length LP Travelling on 03 Dec 2021. Take a listen to the new single below, and visit their Bandcamp page to preorder the album, or hear more from the band.
