Jersey Interchange, a collective of Garden State musicians coming together to cover classic songs from the local punk, ska and hardcore scenes, has released their latest; a reimagining of “The Complete Guide To Home Bartending” by Boxcar. The original can be found on the band’s 1999 LP The Weather is Here, Wish You Were Beautiful.
For this cover, Tom “Chitty” Keiger of Houston Calls and Face First, and Josh Polhemus of Right Turn Eddie join in the fun.
Previous Jersey Interchange collaborations feature members of Bigwig, Midtown, and The Ergs! among others covering the likes Misfits, Weston, and Lifetime.

the white drew carey (aka – Jeff Sorley) is the founder and head editor of TGEFM. He’s lived (outside of) Chicago, Madison WI, (ugh) Penn State, Lyon FR, Oxford UK, central New Jersey, and now within earshot of SFO in the Bay Area. When not scouring the web for more great bands and labels to post about, he also spends time drawing (mostly) silly sci-fi and anime stuff under the name Asplenia Studios.
