On Lagwagon Day, May 16th, www.stageit.com will be hosting a live stream of Joey Cape as he performs an all-Lagwagon set. Along to help with the performance is Cape’s frequent partner in crime Brian Wahlstrom (Scorpios, Bandaid Brigade).
The event is accessible via a ticket system, with entry starting at “50 coins” (equal to $5). Users can choose to pay more for their tickets (“tipping”), with the five biggest “tippers” receiving prizes. Furthermore, the biggest “tip” will be matched/doubled by Fat Wreck Chords and donated to Direct Relief, which provides support to health care workers on the front line of the COVID19 crisis.
As if that wasn’t enough, there is a full-band livestream via Lagwagon’s Facebook page after the performance.
You can pick up tickets for the performance HERE, and the show will be live at 2 pm PDT / 5 pm EDT / 10 pm BST / 11 pm CEST / 6 am Japan (May 17) / 7 am Australia/NZ (May 17)
The aftershow will be on on Facebook starting at/around 3:30 pm PDT / 6:30 pm EDT / 11:30 pm BST / 12:30 am CEST (May 17) / 7:30 am Japan (May 17) / 8:30 am Australia/NZ (May 17).
the white drew carey (aka – Jeff Sorley) is the founder and head editor of TGEFM. He’s lived (outside of) Chicago, Madison WI, (ugh) Penn State, Lyon FR, Oxford UK, central New Jersey, and now within earshot of SFO in the Bay Area. When not scouring the web for more great bands and labels to post about, he also spends time drawing (mostly) silly sci-fi and anime stuff under the name Asplenia Studios.
