People of Punk Rock Records has announced that long-time punk vets Jughead’s Revenge have signed to the label, and have a new album coming soon. Not much information to go on, to be sure, but something is better than nothing.
Jughead’s Revenge formed in 1989 and was active until 2001, then reformed in 2009 with two of the original founding members. Since their reformation the band has been hinting and teasing a new album, and it looks like it is finally happening.
UPDATE – Per a post on Jughead’s Revenge’s Facebook page, the band has stated that the album will be a re-release of their 1996 album Image is Everything on colored vinyl with previously unreleased tracks. While this is great news, to say the least, I’m still hoping for a new album, too!
