Portland punks Keddies Resort ain’t screwing around. In the one month since they released their last album A KILLER GOODBYE, they’ve released two new singles; the second of which just dropped. Out via Sweatband Records, “American Spirit” is…
…the start of the whole story of the album. Concept character gets fired from his job “rightfully so”, he’s always felt under appreciated due to lack of education and medications. Little does he know getting fired from his job was the best thing for him but also the worst for his most hated coworkers and boss. This sets him off on a journey throughout every state of America perfecting his plot.
What does that all mean? I guess the full tale will reveal itself in time. But, in the interim, we’ve got this high-tempo, energetic, fuzzed out punk track to enjoy… with a video!
