L.A. Exes channel all the best elements of 60s surf rock with their new single. “Baby Let’s Pretend” is a fun and wholesome song that’s full of clever innuendo.
I’m not going to editorialize right now on how great I think this song is in every single aspect, that’ll come later today in our First Impressions Reviews column which posts later tonight at 7pm EDT, but let’s just say I like it so much.
Anyhow, the single is off of the band’s upcoming album Get Some, which is due out 20 Aug 2021 via Black Rainbow Records. You can hear the new single below, and check out the previous two singles from that upcoming album over at their Bandcamp page.
