Lakes create some “Tie Dye” on new single

Emo/post-rock group Lakes have released their latest single, “Tie Dye.”

The track will appear on the recently announced LP Elysian Skies due 28 April from Big Scary Monsters. Vocalist Roberto Cappellina describes the song:“Although this is essentially a three minute pop song, sonically it’s probably the most ambitious song we’ve recorded; from the retro sounding 70s acoustic guitars, to the double-bass. The song is about the fight to be present, and being grateful for those around you who accept you for your flaws.”
