Laura Jane Grace has dropped a new single, “Dysphoria Hoodie,” her first new music since 2021’s At War with the Silverfish EP (not including her 2022 collaboration with Bloods on their “I Like You” single). Grace states:
This is a song about gender dysphoria & your favorite hooded sweatshirt. Any trans person out there knows that a dysphoria hoodie is what you wear when feeling low & dysphoric & you don’t want the world reading your gender. Hide your body shape, hide your head, disappear as much as you can.
The single comes along with a lyric video.
