Not content with their original musical endeavors and successes, Laura Jane Grace (Against Me!) and Philly ska wunderkinds Catbite have also been performing Operation Ivy tribute sets. Now their full set, recorded 21 Sep 2024 at The Empty Bottle in Chicago, IL, is available on Bandcamp for as little as $1. Buuuut… you can obviously open up your wallet and pay a bit more, as all proceeds from the sale of the album will go to Sweet Relief and Best Friends to help those affected by the LA wildfires.
Sweet Relief is a an organization that provides financial assistance to people in the music industry who are affected by natural disasters. Although Sweet Relief provides services across the USA, they are currently accepting donations and applications specifically for those affected by the ongoing LA wildfires.
Best Friends is an animal rescue and sanctuary organization with boots on the ground in the LA area. They provide rescue and medical services, as well as safe haven at their animal sanctuary in Utah.
