It’s been a while, but Italy’s A Culture of Killing are back with their new album Dissipation of Cloud, The Barrier. This is the band’s third LP, out via Drunken Sailor Records, and their first new music since 2019’s The feast of vultures, the cry of a dove.
Equal parts blistering, catchy and, at points, danceable, the new album sees the band upping their game, releasing albums that keep building on the last in style and substance.
The Drunken Sailor Bandcamp has the album on the usually digital download, also on two vinyl variants (green vinyl is very low).
the white drew carey (aka – Jeff Sorley) is the founder and head editor of TGEFM. He’s lived (outside of) Chicago, Madison WI, (ugh) Penn State, Lyon FR, Oxford UK, central New Jersey, and now within earshot of SFO in the Bay Area. When not scouring the web for more great bands and labels to post about, he also spends time drawing (mostly) silly sci-fi and anime stuff under the name Asplenia Studios.
