A.S.O.P., which is an acronym for Apple Sized Olive Project, is the new(ish) name of a band, whose name I don’t know, that reformed after 20 years. Heck, I’m getting all of this information from their Bandcamp description, which mean I don’t much of anything, except that they have a new album out titled It Ain’t Right Anywhere. If you’re into that late-80s/early-90s punk sound that got back to the roots in the midst of the post-punk/post-hardcore scene, I think you’ll dig it.
It Ain’t Right Anywhere follows up 2018’s Why? vs. Why?. You can find it over at the A.S.O.P. Bandcamp page along with more music post-reformation.
the white drew carey (aka – Jeff Sorley) is the founder and head editor of TGEFM. He’s lived (outside of) Chicago, Madison WI, (ugh) Penn State, Lyon FR, Oxford UK, central New Jersey, and now within earshot of SFO in the Bay Area. When not scouring the web for more great bands and labels to post about, he also spends time drawing (mostly) silly sci-fi and anime stuff under the name Asplenia Studios.
