Back in art class when I was young, something like 5th or 6th grade, we had to draw a real world piece of architecture. I drew the Transamerica Pyramid in San Francisco. It wasn’t very good because I didn’t know what it really looked like at the time. If San Francisco punks Fentanyl would’ve released this album back at that time 1) I would’ve been able to do a better job, I mean… look at that cover, and 2) it would’ve fit right in with that sloppy and fun 80s punk ethos.
Anyhow, we’ve at least got their debut, self-titled LP now. It’s good. Check it out.

He’s lived (outside of) Chicago, Madison WI, (ugh) Penn State, Lyon FR, Oxford UK, central New Jersey, and now within earshot of SFO in the Bay Area. When not scouring the web for more great bands and labels to post about, he also spends time drawing (mostly) silly sci-fi and anime stuff under the name Asplenia Studios.
