Fresh from their contribution to the Godspeed: A Tribute to Pierre Kezdy album, Grey Trash Aliens drop their new LP Straight Out Of Uranus. Don’t let the clever album title fool you, this band doesn’t truck in crass humor, but in melodic power-punk and power-pop that the Midwest does so well.
The album follows up 2020’s Out of this World, and is currently available as a digital download at their Bandcamp page. Streaming should be up soon (here’s their Spotify), and physical copies are in the pipeline.
the white drew carey (aka – Jeff Sorley) is the founder and head editor of TGEFM. He’s lived (outside of) Chicago, Madison WI, (ugh) Penn State, Lyon FR, Oxford UK, central New Jersey, and now within earshot of SFO in the Bay Area. When not scouring the web for more great bands and labels to post about, he also spends time drawing (mostly) silly sci-fi and anime stuff under the name Asplenia Studios.
