What can you say? The sun has risen above the horizon again, which means it pretty likely that Guided By Voices are releasing a new album. This legendary indie rock act has put out so many albums it is hard to keep up but, in general, they're all pretty good. GBV is likely one of the most prolific acts that are putting out music you'll actually listen to.
On that note, La La Land is somewhere around the 40th studio LP from the band, the sole continuous member of which in their 40-year career (minus a brief hiatus) is founder and vocalist Robert Pollard. It follows up their 2022 collection Scalping the Guru.
