Kepi Ghoul has gathered a bunch of buddies for his new Kepi and Friends album Full Moon Forever. Out via Pirate’s Press Records, the 12-song LP features covers of tracks by David Bowie, Iggy Pop, Mazzy Star, and more. Tom Trauma took a crack at reviewing the album, which you can read here.
The LP is available as a digital download and on neon violet vinyl over at Bandcamp. Kepi and Friends also have a run of gigs in California in February. You can find details on those underneath the stream below.
- Feb 11 The Crepe Place Santa Cruz, CA
- Feb 13 The Golden Bull Bar Oakland, CA
- Feb 14 The Starlet Room at Harlow’s Sacramento, CA
the white drew carey (aka – Jeff Sorley) is the founder and head editor of TGEFM. He’s lived (outside of) Chicago, Madison WI, (ugh) Penn State, Lyon FR, Oxford UK, central New Jersey, and now within earshot of SFO in the Bay Area. When not scouring the web for more great bands and labels to post about, he also spends time drawing (mostly) silly sci-fi and anime stuff under the name Asplenia Studios.
