German punks Melonball have been tempting our senses with their pre-release singles, and now we get the full bore hit of their new album Breathe. The debut album, like the harbison cheese– is fairly decadent and lovingly crafted. Not unlike Melonball, harbison features a lot of richness in every bite, even if it’s a lot to take in all at once, you’ll be glad you did.
Breathe is out on a variety of media, including vinyl, via the one-two punch of Lockjaw Records and Thousand Islands Records, and is also on Spotify. TGEFM also did a Roll of the Dice interview with the band, which you can read here.

the white drew carey (aka – Jeff Sorley) is the founder and head editor of TGEFM. He’s lived (outside of) Chicago, Madison WI, (ugh) Penn State, Lyon FR, Oxford UK, central New Jersey, and now within earshot of SFO in the Bay Area. When not scouring the web for more great bands and labels to post about, he also spends time drawing (mostly) silly sci-fi and anime stuff under the name Asplenia Studios.
