Sell The Heart Records, Engineer Records – 09 April 2025
Probably my favorite middle-aged queer band that I have yet to see live, Middle-Aged Queers release their third LP Theatre of Shame. I feel like an idiot but it finally dawned on me that their studios album titles are not just gags on Mötley Crüe albums, but the covers themselves are as well. I’m sure you figured that out a while ago. I’m just old and slow.
Anyway, the Bay Area’s “Best Live Band” for the fifth consecutive year, per the Bay Area Reporter, are here to lambast you with catchy punk that maybe(?) will also make you queer? It’s worth it.
They’re playing shows, too. More than we knew of last time, starting with tonight in Los Angeles. See info on those below the stream.

the white drew carey (aka – Jeff Sorley) is the founder and head editor of TGEFM. He’s lived (outside of) Chicago, Madison WI, (ugh) Penn State, Lyon FR, Oxford UK, central New Jersey, and now within earshot of SFO in the Bay Area. When not scouring the web for more great bands and labels to post about, he also spends time drawing (mostly) silly sci-fi and anime stuff under the name Asplenia Studios.
