Texas hardcore quartet Phorids have released their debut LP Feel the Pressure. The band trucks in that kind of 80s punk hardcore that’s more melodic and catchy rather than a dirge-like beatdown style. It’s super easy to imagine listening to this back in the day, then watching The Search for Animal Chin before heading out for a session at the steps at your local library… except the production values are a lot nicer now.
