Vancouver’s Schedule 1 release their debut LP Crucible. Let me describe this album in a hypothetical story: It’s 1985 and you went to the record store to buy the new The Cure album (because you wanted to be cool but really didn’t know much about The Cure except for that song about killing an Arab or whatever). but the cute cashier who you’ve had a crush on, like, forever, convinced you to get this cassette instead and you realize that to the end of your days that this was one of the best decisions you ever made. It’s really good.
