Brassneck Records – 17 Mar 2023
Let me just put it this way: mix Hüsker Dü with modern UK punk sensibilities and you’d have Vampire Slumber Party. Their self-titled, sophomore LP is out today, following up 2021’s Funeral Pop.
You can find it at Bandcamp (cassette, digital download) and Spotify for streaming. There are also a few shows lined up in April and May, and you can find info on those below.
- Apr 07 The Union, Manchester Metropolitan University Manchester, UK
- Apr 19 The Queen’s Head, Brixton Brixton, UK
- May 26 The Bird’s Nest Deptford, UK
the white drew carey (aka – Jeff Sorley) is the founder and head editor of TGEFM. He’s lived (outside of) Chicago, Madison WI, (ugh) Penn State, Lyon FR, Oxford UK, central New Jersey, the SF/Bay Area, and now the Twin Cities. When not scouring the web for more great bands and labels to post about, he also spends time drawing (mostly) silly sci-fi and anime stuff under the name Asplenia Studios.
