Trout Hole Records – 06 Mar 2026
Twin Cities-based punk/indie/alt act VIAL deliver their fifth studio LP with their newest, HELLHOUND. Out via their in-house label Trout Hole Records, it follows 2024’s Grow the Fuck Up.
Along with the album they’ve also released a video for the track “INFECTED” (yes, everything’s all in caps). This one’s a super-heavy number. Like… really heavy. Lots of chunky bass and crunchy guitars. I’m also a sucker for paranoia-inducing music or film, and the video definitely lands that as the band members are running through blank, nameless hallways, either to, or from something.
VIAL will also be embarking on a nationwide tour (plus two stops in Canada) in two legs to support the album, starting with a hometown record release show on 21 Mar 2026.
