Emo-rock act American Football‘s debut, self-titled LP turns 25 this year, and the band have released a new 25th anniversary edition with remastered versions of all of the songs, along with a fancy silver double LP vinyl.
But the day ain’t over yet. Along with that release is the new American Football Covers album. Nine bands including Iron & Wine, Girl Ultra, Manchester Orchestra and more covering that debut LP front to back. This covers release also comes with a special edition vinyl, as well as CD and cassette.
Lastly, American Football is coming up on the end of their tour celebrating that 25 year milestone, with three nights left next weekend in Washington DC, and two nights in Brooklyn.
