Mania Records unearths “Some Kind of Hate” cover by Meat for Dogs

So you thought we here at That’s Good Enough For Me couldn’t possibly have more to say about Misfits covers after having our candy-buckets’ fill in the track-by-track discussion in October 2021 for Outloud! Records compilation We’re A Fiend Family , but nay, we have more, thanks to the good folks over at Mania Records!

But what was thought to be a fresh collection of Misfits covers by simmering Italian bands was soon but a snuffed out flame as the growing costs for royalties to avoid the C&D notices from Danzig and his suits wasn’t worth the risk nor the emptying of pockets at that time

However, thanks to the power of the internet and punk rock, Mania Records released but one track from the compilation that never was, from Catanzaro Italy, Meat for Dogs‘ cover over the Misfits classic, “Some Kind of Hate.” Huzzah!

Check it out below.

Editor note: By the way, Meat for Dogs is still around! Check out their Bandcamp.
