UK punks in the classic, thought-provoking vein MC16 have a new single and video from their forthcoming album. “Ground Control” is
…basically what the internet has become. People are told not to trust the government, don’t trust mass media, don’t trust the police, doctors, even each other and we should question anything they say or just call it a lie. However, it’s if a complete stranger posting something online then we are told to believe it, it must be true, no smoke without fire and all that.
The track comes from their debut full-length Machine Code, which lands on 14 February 2025 (a Valentine’s Gift from MC16 to your brain). We don’t have a preorder link for that album at the moment, but head to their Bandcamp or Spotify to hear more from the band.
