Las Vegas’ Mercy Music are on tear lately with a split with Danger Days last June, a new single last month, and now another in quick succession with the track “Desperate.” Not counting that split last year, two songs in two months is quite nice. We’re not sure if this means an album is on the way, but where there’s smoke… as they say.
With catchy hooks and a nice heavy bass line, “Desperation” is a welcome edition from a band that keeps hitting the right spots. It’s on now via Double Helix Records, and you can find more music at the Mercy Music link page.

the white drew carey (aka – Jeff Sorley) is the founder and head editor of TGEFM. He’s lived (outside of) Chicago, Madison WI, (ugh) Penn State, Lyon FR, Oxford UK, central New Jersey, and now within earshot of SFO in the Bay Area. When not scouring the web for more great bands and labels to post about, he also spends time drawing (mostly) silly sci-fi and anime stuff under the name Asplenia Studios.
