Oakland band Middle-Aged Queers have released a new video from their upcoming Shout At The Hetero EP. “Knot Circus” is one of three tracks that were released when the new album was announced, and now it gets the animated video treatment. Per the video information:
Most of the songs on our second album, “Shout At The Hetero,” were written in the initial lockdown period of Covid-19 and take a much darker approach than our first album; ‘Knot Circus’ is no exception. The song explores the phenomenon of catching people in their worst behavior while questioning if we, the public, are becoming a surveillance state. An interesting change of pace for a band that historically written primarily gay content.
Shout At The Hetero is set to arrive 02 Sep 2022 and can be pre-ordered in digitally and on vinyl over at Bandcamp.
This will be their sophomore effort. You can hear other music from the band here and hit up the new video below. The band is also slated to play a couple of show sin their neck of the woods starting tonight, as well as events in September and October. Info on those gigs can be found underneath the video.
