Mikey and His Uke joins members of Belvedere, Less Than Jake, No Use For A Name and Every Time I Die to keep punk rock elite in NoFX tribute

Mikey and His Uke have been a bright spot throughout the global lockdown. That shining light continues as we watch as Mikey, his titular uke and his all-star collection of friends gather together virtually to perform some of the best covers from the scene. This time there is a who’s who of punk performing NoFX’s “It’s My Job to Keep Punk Rock Elite” originally on the band’s 1997 So Long and Thanks For All The Shoes.

This performance features Steve Rawles (Belvedere), Matt Riddle (No Use For A NameFace to Face), Roger Lima (Less Than Jake), Ryan Leger (Every Time I Die) and of course the mastermind Mikey Hawdon of Fairmounts.

This song was chosen as a tribute to friend Shane Levac. Donate to Shane’s Gofundme here.
