LA hardcore outfit Militarie Gun have released a cover of the John Lennon track “Gimme Some Truth”. That protest song originally appeared on Lennon’s 1971 solo album Imagine, and has been featured multiple times in posthumous releases, as the title track for the 2000 documentary Gimme Some Truth: The Making of John Lennon’s Imagine Album
