“Pus Riddled Death Metal.” THat’s what Joliet’s Molder refer to themselves as, and who is TGEFM to argue with that?
The happy-go-lucky quartet have announced the release date for their new LP, Catastrophic Reconfiguration. That will be their third full-length album, and carries on their two-year pattern of LP releases, following 2022’s Engrossed in Decay and 202’s debut full-length Vanished Cadavers. It is due out 08 Nov 2024 via Prosthetic Records.
Accompanying the announcement is the debut single, title and lead track “Catastrophic Reconfiguration,” which you can listen to below. Hear more at their Spotify, and preorder the album on CD, vinyl, or digital download at their Bandcamp. There’s also a link page with more purchase and streaming links.
Molder are also going to be gigging throughout the month and into September. See info on those dates below.

the white drew carey (aka – Jeff Sorley) is the founder and head editor of TGEFM. He’s lived (outside of) Chicago, Madison WI, (ugh) Penn State, Lyon FR, Oxford UK, central New Jersey, and now within earshot of SFO in the Bay Area. When not scouring the web for more great bands and labels to post about, he also spends time drawing (mostly) silly sci-fi and anime stuff under the name Asplenia Studios.
