Australia’s Crankees are less than a month away from their debut LP Settle Down, and have delivered the second pre-release single from the album, “More than a Fool,” as a music video. The band is still very much an 80’s punk-style band (as evidenced by the announcement single “Electric Legs”), but “More than a Fool” veers strongly into some dirty rock territory, without a slow, pounding tempo. More dirge-like than some of their punkier stuff.
Settle Down is due out 29 Nov 2024, again via Evil Tone Records. You can preorder the album on digital and LP over at their Bandcamp, and find their music streaming over at Spotify.
