I like Ohio’s NEVERNEW in a lot of ways, both what they’re doing (monthly releases that each count as an annual album) and what they’re playing (indie-rock), but after all this time covering them, no song has caught me so quickly as “Steel Wool Egg.” Strange name, I know. But it is worth your time.
