Glaswegian label Ripcord Records has released a new 40+ song comp featuring a boatload of great bands. Lockdown Unplugged features acts such as Dead Neck, No Matter, Don Blake, Spoilers and more, all for a paltry £5.
Per the album description on Bandcamp:
These songs were recorded at home with whatever recording equipment the bands had at their disposal, during the coronavirus lockdown. Sometimes one member did both guitar and vocals, other times it was more of a collaborative effort with 2 or more band members recording their parts and collaborating via the internet.
Proceeds from the album go to Support in Mind Scotland, whose aim is to assist those affected by mental illness. You can check out the new song “Leaving” by Müg below, hit up the whole album on Bandcamp here, or just go throw your money at Support in Mind here.
