Massachusetts’ Sounds and Scenarios have gotten a bunch of friends together and released a new charity comp. The 22-track No Love, No Justice, No Peace comp aims to raise funds for the Audre Lourde Project, a “The Audre Lorde Project is a Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Two Spirit, Trans and Gender Non-Conforming People of Color community organizing center, focusing on the New York City area.”
Contributors to the comp include Pull the Curtain, Bullpup, Pinkshift and more. You can check out the Twin Brook track “Stuck in June” below, and head over to Bandcamp to pick up the comp. Or, if you already have too much music in your life (what?), you can always donate directly to the Audre Lourde Project.
the white drew carey (aka – Jeff Sorley) is the founder and head editor of TGEFM. He’s lived (outside of) Chicago, Madison WI, (ugh) Penn State, Lyon FR, Oxford UK, central New Jersey, and now within earshot of SFO in the Bay Area. When not scouring the web for more great bands and labels to post about, he also spends time drawing (mostly) silly sci-fi and anime stuff under the name Asplenia Studios.
