OFF! have released a new video for “Holier Than Thou,” their contribution to the upcoming Metallica tribute/charity album. The Metallica Blacklist tribute celebrates Metallica’s 1991 breakout self-titled release (more commonly known as The Black Album), with 53 bands performing their versions of tracks found on the album.
All proceeds from the sale of the tribute album will be split between Metallica’s multi-faceted non-profit All Within My Hands Foundation, as well as an artist choice non-profit. In OFF!’s case, proceeds will go towards Running Strong for American Indian Youth*.
You can check out the new video below (it has a long intro, and will assuredly piss of some of the more religious folk out there), and check out this link for pre-save and pre-order options for both The Black Album 30th anniversary edition (due out 10 Sep 2021), and The Metallica Blacklist album (due out at/around 01 Oct 2021).
This article has been updated with more information from the band as to which Indian Youth organization (there are several which include that name) would be the beneficiary of the partial proceeds from the sale of OFF!’s submission.

He’s lived (outside of) Chicago, Madison WI, (ugh) Penn State, Lyon FR, Oxford UK, central New Jersey, and now within earshot of SFO in the Bay Area.
