UK’s “highly accessible moderate rock” act (their words) Sounds of Swami have released a new single as a name-your-price download. Like their July release “Humbug” the music was recorded back in the olden days of 2017, with vocals recorded in 2020. Also like that previous track (heck, we’ll embed it below, too), the album art uses a similar color scheme. This could mean something, or nothing. Heck, I don’t know, and it seems the band ain’t telling. But the song rocks, so at least there’s that.
Aside from their submission for the recent, excellent Fugazi tribute album, these two songs are the band’s first new music since 2017’s Furniture for Modern Living.
Check out the new single below, and visit their Bandcamp or Spotify page for more.
