Chicago duo OK Cool are gearing up to release their sophomore album Chit Chat this coming August. The album follow their 2023 debut full-length fawn, unless you include their Audiotree Live album in the mix, which we don’t (not that it isn’t good, just not a studio LP, right?).
If that wasn’t (OK) cool enough, the indie rockers have a new single and video “Waawooweewaa” and, damn, yeah. That’s what we thought when we heard it. It starts out as expected but keeps building up and just starts sounding better and better as it goes. By the time everyone starts jogging it’s firing on all cylinders. Waawooweewaa indeed.
