“Alive” is the third single of 2024 from Edmonton, AB “(m)elodic power trio” Open Eyes. Kind of a late-80s hardcore punk thing, but a bit heavier and, this is really cool, the production sounds like you’re hearing it live at a venue with a great sound set up. Like, listening to it, I actually feel like i’m at a gig. Intentional or not, it’s a cool vibe.
Aside from the three recent single, the band also has two live tracks from 2022, and that appears it be it so far, but hopefully more to come. Find more Open Eyes at their handy Linktree page.
